Yay lol - This is the piece I've been working on in my occupational therapy

Actually I first wanted to paint something else and did some kind of blueish background. Then I ended up not seeing my lines anymore and wondered what to do so I put random shapes onto it with compound (for art...I can'T find a good translation for what I actually mean so yeah...) I put some broken rattan pieces into that compound before it dried and then colored the shapes....

I ended up not liking it and wondering what to do until the occupational therapists suggested I shoulc cover the WHOLE picture with tah compound and then go and look for some inspiration. So I covered the whole thin with compound and then put some rice on the wet compound and the rest of that day I looked through a catalogue with art prints....I stubled over pics of Joan Miro and the inspiration was found.

Next time I went to the OT I started using the precolored shapes for something that looked a bit like Miro-Style and I went on and on with mixing colors and yeah...you get the point.

This is my result - the title is french and means "With the blood of Miro". I chose that title because of the big red area that looks pretty much like a puddle of blood ^^

Unfortunately the photo of the pic isn't that great so I didn't even ask to view the fullview because the fullview looks grainy and blurry and yeah just meh...

I hope you like it anyways :D

You mean to say it is not a "real original Miro"? :?
I think it is a great image.
I love the texture. In high school, my art teacher was always trying to get everyone to put in additives to get a bas relief texture in our oil painting.
Well done! :D
